Lots to Love

Happy Valentine's Day one and all!  (Throws heart-shaped vibes into the universe with a twirl.)  I hope it's been a great day for you.  Whether you have a significant other or not, you most certainly have a reason to celebrate love.  Love makes the world go 'round!  And today I'm thinking extra mushy thoughts about Roy, Camden, the little one in my womb, my parents, my siblings, my in-laws, my college besties, my mama pals, aunts, uncles, and everyone who loves and supports our little family.  Talk about blessed.

I've never been so into the chocolate part of this holiday, but lemme tell ya... this baby likes sweets!  So we covered our french toast in Nutella this morning.

 "I can eat this wrench?"
"Yes, and you better do it before your mama gets her hands on it..."

Sadly today this little dude has been down with a bad cold.  So we've been spending a lot of the day snuggling, reading books, and watching shows that involve valentines.  But while he's down for a nap (poor guy is coughing it up in there) I thought I'd reflect on some recent happenings.

Okay, some of them really aren't that recent.  But better late than never.

I love watching these boys love each other.

I love having people to visit- especially family.  It always gives us that extra push to get outside and explore.  This was a fun hike along a river.  A cold river.  And some guy, showing off for his grandsons, stripped down to his long johns and dove into the freezing water!  Funny to watch.

I love this crazy beautiful planet and the Lord who made it for us.

I love that we get to hang out with some extra kids during the week.  Babysitting has provided Camden with such good little friends.

I love that Camden is developing such a personality, and that I get to watch him grow and learn.

I love mornings.  Camden always runs in to give me hugs when he wakes up.  Sometimes we jump up and greet the day, and sometimes we just stay in bed and play dinosaurs for an hour.

I love my first family, and love that we are close enough to see (most of) them so often.

I love my friends!  I specifically love that I got to see these beautiful girls recently, and that they were patient with my preggo self during our hike.  Even though I had to pee the entire trek, and even though I was breathless after ten steps, there's nowhere I would have rather been.

And blue draaaaank!

I love living somewhere we can build snowmen in the morning, and lay out in the sun by the lake in the afternoon.

And have I mentioned I love being a mama to this boy?

I love Roy, who wrote me a hilarious poem this morning that made me laugh.  He's just the best forever Valentine I could ever imagine for myself.  (You're welcome for sparing you the mush!)

Lots to love.  <3
